The guest on 19 June is Marie-Louise Meuris, 'funerary advisor', former director of the Nieuwe Ooster, and author/composer of a hefty book on the history of that 130-year-old cemetery. That is not only a place for countless Amsterdam dead, but also an extraordinary park, designed by Springer, and now grown into an arboretum, an exceptional collection of trees. Host is Koen Kleijn.
