River Adomeit (double bass) and Līva Dumpe (vocals) are affiliated with Red Light Arts & Culture (RLAC). They have been performing together for more than three years as part of the folk/improvisation trio Flatland Prayer. On Friday, June 6, at the Prostitution Information Centre (P.I.C.), they will play material from their 2024 debut album titled Like Staring Straight into the Sun, as well as a selection from their upcoming January 2026 release, brought about through Keep an Eye: The Records - of which they are 2025 winners. With acclaimed performances at TivoliVredenburg and the Bimhuis to their credit, this duo will bring their signature sound to the Red Light Jazz festival.
