Inspired by the call on the Zuiderkerk Bell, 4 Bells For Freedom wants to start the conversation about freedom - especially now, at a time when our freedom is coming under increasing pressure. Freedom is fragile and can be lost just like that. That is why it is more important than ever to reflect together on what freedom means to us. Leading up to 4 October, five street actions and two discussion evenings on freedom will take place. On 4 October, the Zuiderkerk will include a youth choir (Nieuw vocaal Amsterdam) and a spoken-word performance. Think ensamble playing a piece composed by Marion von Tilzer.
