This means we not only showcase art, but also actively work to strengthen collaboration between artists, making Amsterdam's art community even more vibrant and inspiring.
Why?
Our mission is to promote collaboration between artists and increase the accessibility of art. We offer the local art scene a platform in a city where there is increasingly less space for affordable workspaces and exhibition spaces. We give art lovers the opportunity to enjoy this art for free. This way, Amsterdam art remains accessible to everyone, and we contribute to a pleasant, liveable city.
How?
We connect residents and visitors with local artists through various initiatives and projects. We showcase our artists' work on our website, in our gallery, and at events. This allows art lovers to connect directly with artists without intermediaries. We do not charge artists a commission on sold work. However, we do expect participating artists to play an active role in our activities.
