”GenZ Voice recitals” offers a fresh perspective on classical music through the lens of the younger generation of GenZ (pronounced Dzjen Zie). After a successful pilot series in 2025, a second edition will follow in 2026.
This series of 11 recitals invites audiences on a musical world tour. Each recital focuses on a unique song or aria from the performer's country of origin. The participating students from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, ranging from Bachelor 3 to Master level, bring a diversity of culture and flair to the stage with their duo partners. Hosted at Splendor Amsterdam, a breeding ground for independent musicians.
Due to great interest among students, this year the series has been extended from four Sunday afternoons and a concluding Saturday evening minute. Performances will be explained in English and/or Dutch.
