Election debate: getting a grip on tech

Election debate: getting a grip on tech

12 March

Our city is in a split: the municipality has committed to measures to make it less dependent on US big tech. On the other hand, big data centres, hyperscalers and AI campuses are demanding our public space.

On Thursday 12 March, we will engage with candidates from Amsterdam's political parties to hear where they stand. We invite you to an in-depth election debate at Waag Futurelab in which we will discuss digitalisation with our municipality's future politicians. We will have short introductions by experts around these themes, after which there will be space for the representatives of the political parties to present their vision and concrete proposals.

The following parties will be represented at this debate: VVD GroenLinks PvdA D66 BIJ1 Piratenpartij Partij voor Morgen Volt Partij voor de Dieren See you then!
