Paper Inspirations, an exhibition of paper-cutting and paper-art. Members of the Dutch Association for Paper-cutting will be exhibiting their art at kunstRUIM in Amsterdam.
They showcase the contemporary manifestations of this ancient art form through flat works, three-dimensional works and wall hangings; from cut-outs ranging from black paper to fluorescent orange; from books to works measuring several metres.
It's a special experience to see what's possible with paper, scissors and a knife. The exhibition features work by Tracey Bush, Annemieke Jongert, Conny Lahnstein, Maja Houtman, Miguel Castro, Sabeth Elberse, Charlotte Schilt-van Ettekoven and, as guest participants, Henk Kaptein, Hedi Hegeman and Henk Tap.
During the exhibition, the exhibitors will be present to explain their work. In addition, a workshop and a lecture will be held in the gallery. More information about this can be found on the website
