Glaze Your Tableware - Ceramic Glazing Workshop Every Wednesday & Friday evening and Sunday afternoon Autumn edition: 15 September - 14 December Times: Evening: 19:30 - 21:30 Afternoon: 13:00 - 15:00 Price: €59 Duration: 2 hours Type: Seasonal Workshop What is it? An accessible, creative workshop in which you will add colour and character to your own ceramic object - a bowl, mug or plate. In two relaxed hours, you will learn to work with underglaze and discover how colours, patterns and effects come together to create a personal design that can be used every day. How does it work? You choose a piece of tableware and then get to work with brushes, pigments and glazing techniques. The teacher will guide you where necessary, but above all give you room to experiment, play and discover your own aesthetic. For whom? For anyone who fancies an instructive and fun creative activity - no experience is necessary. Good to know: Your work cannot be taken home immediately; after glazing, it will be fired. After about 10 days, your unique ceramic piece will be ready to collect.
