Redlightjazz: Farida Merville & Friends

Singer/songwriter/producer Farida Merville was born in Suriname on 4 April 1967 and grew up in the Netherlands as well as in Suriname. 'The Girl From Amsterdam' started singing at the age of 17 with her grandfather's band. In the early nineties, Farida became active as a session and studio musician.
